As already mentioned, breastfeeding provides some protection, but not
absolute protection.  The overall infection rate is lower in breastfed
babies, but I've seen some small breastfed babies get pretty
sick from RSV.  The new med, Respigam, is an antibody to give passive
immunity (like VZIG for chickenpox and HBIG for Hepatitis B).
