George Hersbach, president and CEO, Pharming Ltd., The Netherlands.
Before Dolly the cloned sheep, there was Herman the genetically
engineered bull. Herman's female offspring produce human lactoferrin,
a natural antibiotic, for infant formula. Pharming Ltd.'s first products
could be launched in 1999.>>>

there have been a lot of rumour and media attention around this. The dutch
government has given the permission for this research after ethical testing. But
several times there was found out Pharming Ltd had lied about their research.
At first Pharming, promised that the goal of the research was not for making
formula, but for making special diet food for kidney patients.

Another rumour came up when one found out that on of the secret participants of
the moneygivers was Nutricia, the Durch formula producer. Under the public
pressure, Nutricia had to retire from this.

I'm not surprised by this annoucement
