Hello,

This is my first post but I have been reading for months and learning much.  I am a mother of 3 breastfed children, a LLLL of 13 years and a new IBCLC (2010).  I am feeling very grateful for this resource and I hope that I will be able to contribute something helpful to future discussions.  

I am wondering if anyone knows of a resource where I might view normal newborn palates in order to be sure when I see an unusual palate.   I know that some unusual palates are obvious but I am wanting to be able to discern for sure if a palate is high enough to be the cause of clicking and nipple soreness.

I have read and re-read the wonderful _Sucking Skills_ book and everthing about palates in the new _Breastfeeding Answers Made Simple_ and _Breastfeeding and Human Lactation_ and I still feel uncertain when I look at an actual palate.
