In reference to the OB who "forces breastfeeding", I think this approach is
counterproductive. There is a difference between quite obviously making you
preference clear and expousing the benefits.  One thing I often do is
automatically ask the question "so houw is the nursing/breastfeeding going
" without first checking to see what the mothers have done so far (This is
in the hospital). I had one case like this this week were mom had actually
been using formula "becuase there was no milk", I told her about the fact
that there wasn't supposed to be any, colustrum etc, and when I left she was
nursing...
As second comment as to "the unprofessional nature" of some of the posts,
does anyone belong to other "bulletin boards? my guess is that they all have
"chit chat" do to the nature of medium...
