Have you seen Diane Weissinger's handouts?  She has one for dads and one for grandparents that are excellent.  The grandparent one talks gently about how their daughter might be doing things different from what they learned as new parents but it doesn't mean she is criticizing what they did.  The dad one talks about ways he can be supportive and important to the baby without doing the feeding directly.
I have no personal interest in these handouts-just love them.
