   HMB ( human milk bank) guidelines for mothers milk for her own infant in
the hospital setting recommends that "stored milk that has not been warmed
for use should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours.

   Re: storage containers there is an article in the Dec issue of JHL in
which the bottom line appears to be glass.

   Re initial refrigeration: the above citation refers to lit. deomonstrating
no appreciable bacteria growth up to 5 days
