I'd like to figure out how to scan an article into the computer and not
have to  save the hard copy.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

Pat -

I use Pagis Pro by Xerox.  It saves in the same format (columns, etc) as
the originals, allows you to search articles by key word frequency and lets
you make notations on the pages.  Some how though it's not as satisfying as
having the article "in hand"...
