Go to the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine's website. There is a 
statement within the "hospital policy" part that says when a baby needs to 
be supplemented, no more than 10-15 cc should be given at a feed (in the 
initial feeds). That whole website is good.I have heard that 7cc thing as 
well, but do not have a reference. I looked in my Riordan and Auerbach 
text and there is nothing specific.
