I have a patient who is post-partum day 7 who required a V-Q (ventolation -
perfusion) scan.  The radiologist states she should wait 48-72 hours before
resuming use of breast milk... based on gut feeling.  Anyone have any data
on metabolism, milk concentration etc.  Briggs & Hale do not elucidate (but
I must admit I only have the '96 Hale with me).  The drugs used are
Technecium 99  - intravenous and Xenon - inhaled
