Marianne, you asked for references to support not giving prelacteal feeds to
breastfeeding infants noting
>our team of pediatricians like to have hard core studies
>before them when it comes to bf issues.

What are the studies they quote as basis for giving newborns water, or
glucose water?

(I'm at home today, snowbound, so can't list references I have in my files
at work. I am sure other lactnetters will respond with the "ammunition" you
need)
