Maybe what we should call real lactation consultants is lactation "therapist"?

But every breastfeeding mother is a lactation therapist. Just think, breastmilk is therapy for sick babies, breastfeeding is therapy for an upset toddler... the list could go on.

Cordelia Merritt RN IBCLC, Lactation Therapist, mom to 4yo Anna who still gets therapy at the breast.
