Hi all,
Did you see good Morning America this morning!  They were talking about a
real case where a baby had died from breastfeeding failure (lack of calories
and dehydration) and the mother is being prosecuted.  The female doctor
(can't remember her name) on the show talked about how to tell if a baby is
getting enough nutrition is by having 8-12 wet diapers a day and not to feel
guilty if you had to give formula.  To say the least I e-mailed the show
right away with a bit (really a whole lot) of  information on correct I&O
for a breastfeeding baby.  So be on the look for increased phone call and
worried parents.
