Capri:  The pill you mention is the standard "low dose" combination oral
contraceptive.  These have been shown to decrease the milk supply.  There
is plenty of discussion of this in the archives.  If this mother needs
hormonal contraception, she would probably do better with
progesterone-only pills or depo-provera, but she may need to build her
