Dear Rob, I would imagine it would flavor the milk.T. Hale says "it is a
weak base and would concentrate in human milk by ion trapping, but it IS
prescribed for babies over age 6 mo."  Personally I hardly ever use it for
kids because of the taste, kids can't keep it down long enough for it to
work!  I've taken it personally and the taste is persistent throughout the
