Having read the list of foods, commercially available or waiting to become
commercially available, that are genetically engineered, I recall an
Ogden Nash couplet I read as a child --

"As the daily diet grows odder and odder,
It's a wise child who knows his own fodder."

And while typing this up, created my own paraphrase:

"As the daily diet comes not from mom's udder,
It's a wise a child who knows her own mudder."

Love, y'all, Chanita, San Francisco
