   if you look at the work of kathy d she finds natural weaning from 2-7
years.

    i think that it is important to "listen" to the child. there well may be
reasons that this child is not interested in solids... i am confident that if
solids are pushed then the  reasons will come out.... if as you say this
child is healthy,  happy and doing all the appropriate developmental things
then ... listen to the baby,.
