To my mind this is no different from, say, ILCA collaborating with Nestle to do breastfeeding research. I am appalled that Dr Love would partner with an organization that refuses to remove carcinogens from their products. The environmental link to cancer isn't exactly an unknown and all this project does is whitewash Avon. It's no different than the pinkwashing of KFC or any other company whose products cause cancer.

FYI: An interactive Q&A webinar with Dr. Love (of the Army of Women) and Dr Kathleen Arcaro is being presented on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Pacific time (12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern time).

Dr. Arcaro and her team are conducting the Milk Study – studying the breast cells normally found in breast milk to see if there are any differences between women whose breast biopsies turn out to be healthy and those whose biopsies show a problem, such as cancer – and the Army of Women is helping the research team recruit the women they need. Now, Dr. Arcaro wants to give back to the Army of Women by sharing some preliminary study results and offer a chance to ask questions.
