The topic of Lactnet is breastfeeding - something, by the way, that
prevents even more child deaths than vaccines do. Posts about vaccination
pros and cons are only appropriate to Lactnet *as they relate to
breastfeeding*. The topic of vaccination in itself has been demonstrated in
the past to have impressive potential to sidetrack the list from its
purpose. Therefore, we request that subscribers wishing to discuss the
merits or drawbacks of specific immunizations, or immunization by vaccine
in general, do so elsewhere.
Posts about whether a particular vaccine is a contraindication to
breastfeeding, are still on topic.
If you have a query for Lactnet involving immunization in some way, feel
free to run it by us listmothers before you post it, to be on the safe side
of the guidelines.
We will be grateful if you can all just get back on topic now :-)
