Yes, yes. It is true that some honey can contain botulinum spores. My
son's Big Brother almost lost his firstborn son when he contracted
botulism. Where did he get it? Mother had sore nipplse and read in a
booklet given out by the hospital where she delievered that honey helped
sore nipples. So, she put some on her nipples and the rest was histroy.
Baby had to be trached and nearly died.
Needless to say, she stopped breastfeeding and never even tried with her
two later sons.
