So...I'm wondering....why isn't IBLCE listening to all of this??? My background is LLL and teaching and child development. I bring a wealth of info to each consult. I, too, am very concerned about all this. the courses on anatomy and physiology, etc. I can understand. but Medical charting? Universal precautions? these are specifically for hospitals. The people who will be following this pathway will never be allowed close to a hospital. What's the point? I'm hoping the board comes to its senses. If I could work in a hospital, I'd be happy to take that stuff. but those doors are slammed shut.
