Searching for information and comments on helping a mom to breastfeed, she nursed first child without problems, second child diagnosed with "Tetralogy of Fallot". Infant was in NICU for 4 days and D/C'ed home (on SAT monitor) with mom just starting to put to breast at day3. There was a delay in effective pumping, since she was at another hospital. Worked with her as much as possible and will be following up on my own with assistance when / if. Infant latched on well with assistance after bottle feeding for 2-3 days in NICU. Infant doing well for now, but would like more information for future use. Any comments welcomed.
Thanks , Ann
