Greetings.... Before the holidays get any closer, I want to report back
on the baby I wrote about who was an extremely noisy nurser whose Mom
reported he stopped breathing during nursing. Thanks to all who
responded! The general consensus was that this baby could have a
condition called laryngotrachialmalacia. I don't believe the Ped ever
ordered a follow-up with an ENT or Pulmonary Doc. However, I
recommended position adjustments to Mom like what we'd offer for OAL.
Mom reports baby is nursing more comfortably and a little more
quietly. Thanks again.
