Dear Friends:
     Dr. Piscane (from Italy) published a little article showing that
exclusive breastfeeding for 7 months was protective against anemia.
     It is also true that early cord cutting denies babies the chance to
increase their iron stores. As does induction, as babies are laying down
stores of glycogen and brown fat and essential nutrients to get ready for the
big move ahead, i.e. birth. Induction always means that baby and mother
aren't ready for the big move.
