I just want to say that I think the different pathways and different 
backgrounds is one of the major benefits of IBCLC.  We have lawyers and 
doctors and nurses and LLLLs and teachers and psychologists, you name the 
profession and I bet one of them is an IBCLC.  It's what makes us so
