Hi:

Has anyone ever encountered a 15 year old girl with mastitis.  The information I received from a midwife states that this girl is not pregnant, but has ll the signs of mastitis.  Has a walnut size lump located on the outer edge of the areola.  Started off being reported as feeling sore and by that night was in a lot of pain, had chills, fever and breast turning hard and red. Any thoughts on this?
