I  will be honest and tell you that any milk bank would appreciate
monetary donations and HMBANA also.   As far as I know we are all
non-profit and don't have funds for advertising.  We are lucky to just
get the work done;  collecting milk, blood screening, heat treating and
distribution of that milk.  If I didn't have the volunteer that I have I
would really be in trouble.  She is so dedicated.  Besides I have the
Breastfeeding Center to run.  I am just afraid that this is "advertising"
on LACTNET and not sure it isn't against the rules.  Not all of the
Coordinators of Milk Banks are on Lactnet either.  I will be very
interested in what ideas people come up with.  Running a milk bank is a
hard job, but even one donor who has a positive experience from the milk
used makes it all worth while.
