Cindy:  Check the CDC web site or call them but in the mean time here is
what APHA's Control of Communicable Diseases says (Dr. Nice do you have
anything else?):


Anthrax: Immunize high risk persons with cell-free vaccine prepared from a
culture filtrate containing the protective antigen.

Yellow Fever:  Active immunization of all persons over 9 months of age
necessarily exposed to infection because of residence, occupation or
travel.  A single subcutaneous injection of a vaccine containing viable
attenuated yellow fever 17D strain virus, cultivated in chick embryo is
effective in 99%...The vaccine can be given any time after 6 months, but is
contraindicated before then UNLESS THE RISK OF VACCINE-ASSOCIATED
ENCEPHALITIS is low.  THE VACCINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE
LIVE VACCINES ARE CONTRAINDICATED, NOR IN THE FIRST TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY,
UNLESS THE RISK OF DISEASE IS BELIEVED TO BE HIGHER THAN THE THEORETICAL
RISK TO THE PREGNANCY.

Now, under the theory that if it's safe to give it directly to babies, then
it should be relatively safe to give to mom, the mother and her physician
can make a judgement call.  ONE MIGHT WANT TO NOTE THAT THE FORCED USE OF
ANTHRAX VACCINE IS CURRENTLY BEING PROTESTED/BOYCOTTED BY SEVERAL DOZEN
ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL.
