I did write Consumer Reports a few years ago suggesting an evaluation of
breast pumps.  I received a form letter back thanking me for my
suggestion.  Nothing has appeared, yet. Who knows though, if many people
offer the idea, maybe they will do it. I know some breastfeeding moms
who would happily be their evaluators (I offered their services in the
letter).  Of course, we would expect there to be one of those little
insert boxes they use for asides, explaining alternative feeding
methods.
