My daughter had the crystals in her urine when she was 12 days old -- also the
day that her heart defects "kicked in" to the point where my mothering
instincts caused me to call the doctor and tell her that there was something
definetely WRONG with my baby. At the time the ped. told us that the
crystals were not all that uncommon and not to worry about it. Same ped. also
admitted her to the hospital at the end of the same office visit, though not
knowing that her breathing difficulties were caused by heart problems.
(All this on December 23)
I am interested in hearing how these crystals may or may not be related to
problems in the babies. Or are they _normal_?
