I know I"m coming in a little late on this issue...
The only thing that came to mind for me is that if mum asks for laws/rules
that prevent baby for being in class with her, is there any chance that the
college will have a rule that says you can't attend lectures unless you are
enrolled in the course? In theory this could be used to prevent an infant or
child being present.
