The hospital where I work gives out a cooler bag with the hospital logo on
it. I always mention that it is a great way to transfer expressed milk!

As for visiting hours, I'm used to this in my current workplace and in
Australia, but it has given me something to add to my prenatal classes. When
I teach BF class we talk about the role of the dad in the BF family. I often
mention 'crowd control' in terms of visitors, but perhaps I can add "if mum
is looking tired and you both know baby needs to feed, then dad can ask
visitors to go to allow privacy".

We also have a part of the prenatal series that says "we say rest but..."
and list all the things that interrupt mums resting in hospital (it's a long
list!), including visitors. This is another opportunity to remind dads they
can be mum's advocate in this situation.

Thanks for making me thing about my class outline some more!
