Having a pregnant daughter in law has forced us to deal with this also.
We have found that the useful strategy is to ask them for documentation.  So
far, none has been produced and the various people have lightened up.  Grand
daughter has also decided that sometimes the milk is yucky, and is nursing
only a couple times a day.
