  Very good photos - enjoyed them all, including 'glad pappa' which I 
am guessing means 'happy dad' :)

In the UK, there are many places like this which offer similar care, 
but some are not well-entrenched -  they come and go, with the 
vagaries and politics of funding and priority-setting.

We are not as techno-focussed as the US, and midwives are still the 
lead professional at the majority of births - and that is the key to 
preserving a woman-centred birth (and breastfeeding) culture, IMHO.
