Transient lactose intolerance is used as terminology when it isn't a
permanent thing -- i.e. -- foremilk/hindmilk imbalance; antibiotic gut
damage.  Your daughter's lactose intolerance will be there for life....a
baby's will be there until the problem is corrected -- the foremilk/hindmilk
imbalance is balanced, or the gut has healed from the assault of the
antibiotics.

Clear?  Or clear as mud?
