I happened to hear on a medical call-in show yesterday that there are
some good studies linking Crohn's with a bacterial infection. The
doctor said that the intestinal tissues of Crohn's sufferers looked
like tubercular lung tissue under a microscope, and that treatment
with certain antibiotics had proved very successful in clearing up
Crohn's permanently. Anybody here familiar with the research this MD
was refering to?
