I have a client who is postpartum 3.5 weeks who started taking birth control
pills at 1.5 weeks postpartum.  She didn't have a name but it contains 1 mg
Norethindrone and .035 mg ethylestradiol. She did ask the perscribing doc and
her ped about these pill and was reassured they were ok. About a week after
she started the pills she noticed the baby acting as if he wasn't getting
enough milk; nursing for a while 10 min and then pulling away but still
acting hungry. Does anyone have info on this pill in relationship to
breastfeeding?

Mom does have some nipple tenderness and is working making sure proper
postioning is ALWAYS used.
