Trovan is trovafloxacin mesylate, a synthetic, broad-spectrum antibiotic
similar to ciprofloxacin. Breastmilk levels are less than 0.4% of the
maternal dose. No pediatric concerns reported via milk. Reviewed in the new
edition of Hale.

I would suggest that there is no concern regarding continued breastfeeding
while the mother is on this drug. Mom should resume breastfeeding and forget
about the pump&dump.
