41 yo mom of 8 day old baby.  Had a titanium marker put in breast (for calcifications) just before her surprise pg.  No one seems able to tell her what will happen with titanium marker in breast.  She has been pumping and dumping (aaarrrggghhh) since day 2.  I told  her it wouldn't rust and if it somehow came thru breast duct to nipple it would make her uncomfortable, but if baby swallowed it it would be no big deal and would be excreted.  She was also told she will need a mammo as soon as baby weans.  Somedays I feel like screaming - where has common sense gone???  Pat in SNJ
