There is a Murphy's Law of BF that the mom with the largest nipple/breast
gets the baby with the daintiest mouth!  I would hope that pumping and
feeding alternatively would only have to be done for a short period of time
until the baby's mouth/head grows a little.  Although, about 20 years ago I
had a mom who pumped and fed for 6 mo.  Her nipples were double, sort of
like a very wide side-lying figure 8.  Back then we just bottle fed pumped
milk and didn't really have a good bag of tricks to get baby back to
