This may be old news---if so, I apologize.  I just recently saw the movie
Step Mom.  One of the scenes had the biological mother telling the soon to be
Step Mother her children's birth stories.  She said that she had two hours of
labor with her son, who then went right to the breast "and camped out there
for the next four days."  It was very matter of fact.  As if breastfeeding
were the norm.
