Hi All,

 

I sent a rather long post a couple days ago re: a mom with epilepsy.  I have
had no responses.  Short question:  Can she safely take Zonegran while BF?
She needs the medication in order to not have daily seizures.  We know Hale
says it is L5 risk.  However, her Epileptologist said it was OK.
Conflicting info here.

 

Also, baby is not doing well on ABM.  This is why she wants to relactate if
at all possible.  She is exploring donor milk and milk from the milk
bank.baby is miserable.  Mom is miserable watching baby be miserable and is
deeply saddened that she was told not to BF.

 

Help??  Any ideas?  Any thoughts?
