OK, me too . . .

I was born in 1959, in Ohio, USA. My mom's charge for her 6-day
hospital stay after a vaginal delivery (she was knocked out, of
course) was $173.65.

I was fed a formula of evaporated milk, water, and karo syrup. My mom
says she knew only one mother who breastfed. That lucky baby is now a
Ph.D. in something like neuroscience.

At six weeks, my doctor's records note "rash about face & neck" and
then "add veg & fruit." At seven weeks it states "Facial eczema; start
pablum & paberra (? can't make out). Give rice & barley cereal." At
four months "add egg yolk & meat."

Interesting . . .
