Thanks Jan for your thoughts...You gave me an idea... We don't say
to a bottle feeding mom "give the bottle for seven minutes, he
gets all he needs in that time". No, you feed till the milk is gone
or the baby stops. and that may take 20-30 minutes. One doesn't know
the amount of milk present in the breast at a given time
 so it is best to let the
baby keep nursing till he/she is done.
The disasters created by this "7 minute" information is stunning
and it doesn't go away.  I want to send a clear scientific article
to HCP when I send a post consultation letter to educate. Any good
 reference out there? Thanks!
