I have just heard "thru the grapevine" that the NY State Health Department is compiling stats of mothers
who leave the hospital completely aand partially breastfeeding. I understand that these stats are to be
published on a regular basis so that consumers can make informed choices about which hospitals are
actively promoting breastfeeding. Has anybody else heard anything about this?
