In light of our discussion on scheduled feeds, I wonder how many of us on
Lactnet (a) have issues with food -- either we eat too much, or eat too
little, or are consistently concerned about weight. And (b) how many of us
that have issues with food a la (a) above, were fed on a schedule, and had
food used as either reward or punishment...."If you are good, I'll get you an
ice cream cone." OR, "You've been bad. You'll go to bed without any supper."
I bet there are a lot of us that fall into either or both categories --
particularly those of us that were born in the 40's & 50's. And I would
hypothesize that those of us that fit into either A or B have issues w/
weight.
Anorexia &/or bulemia fit here too....
Let's not do that to our children.
