Maybe I'm alone here...but I don't recall seeing her say outright that
the act of nursing an 8 yo was obscene. I sort of got the impression
from what was written that she thought it was obscene to want to
broadcast it to the world. That the child would never recover from the
publicity of it all, not necessarily from the bf.

Of course she may also think that bf an 8-yo is obscene, I don't
know...but that wasn't what I was reading personally in the words that
were quoted.

If one only talks about the issue of broadcasting this for the world to
see, I can kind of see the point...I wouldn't broadcast my every meal
over national TV either...not at 8 and not at 27. It's not newsworthy
because everyone eats. ;-) If everyone bf 8 yo's it wouldn't be
newsworthy either.

(up with a sadistic foetus who keeps giving her contractions every 10
min. for the past 2.5 hours with absolutely no progress so far...40
weeks 3 days now and counting...)
