Thanks to all who posted privately or on the list with words of support, "me
too" messages, etc.

I think part of the problem is that I'm in private practice, and rarely see
healthy normal thriving babies (or normal births) anymore.  No, I'm not
depressed. Yes, I like what I'm doing - most of the time.  On a brighter
note, the client whose own mother died during her labor is doing great -
baby is nursing on both sides and thriving.

Linda J. Smith, BSE, FACCE, IBCLC who has  too much to do (as usual), grumpy
because the skies have been gray for days, it's cold out but there's no snow
to soften the bare branches, and half the equipment in my office seems to be
on a "sick-out" strike.  Even my bed broke. Bah, Humbug!
