The conversation about what consititutes exclusive breastfeeding and
Virginia's thoughts on relactation reminds me of some questions that I have
in my mind for terminology for women who have relactated/induced lactation.

How do you describe situations where women relactate or induce lactation
when a child
is older and receiving food other than milk. If they produce all the *milk*
that their child requires what are they doing? Are they producing a full
milk
supply? but the child is also receiving other food and so it is not
exclusive breastfeeding? but the mother is not supplementing with formula?

I tend towards not making a distinction between those who are feeding their
babies nothing but breastmilk and those who are feeding their children no
milk but breastmilk and simply saying that both have a full milk supply. I
would be interested in the opinions of others.
