Holly, and others who wonder whether this is the same substance well known to cause allergic skin reactions: from what I can tell, it contains Balsam of Peru as one of several potential allergens. 
I promise to check with our hospital pharmacy, who make it up for us, and get it removed from the ward if so!!
Have not personally used it for many years but I should have done something to get it out of the cupboard long ago.
