Rob,

Does the mastitis always develop in morning? Which side is Mom sleeping
on?
Is it possible that she is causing a blockage while sleeping by laying
on arm?
What type of night clothes are involved?
Elastic neck gowns are convenient, but may be causing blockage, esp if
she is adjusting her sleeping position with breast "out".

Just a few ideas....These are things we sometimes overlook the seond
time around. We (mothers) sleep better, spend less time startling awake
to check for baby breathing, and with a two year old as well, she is
probably sleeping hard.
